At Made You Smile Gifts, we create thoughtful get well and post-surgery recovery boxes designed to comfort and uplift. Each gift is carefully curated to bring a moment of calm, a touch of joy, and a sense of being truly cared for - because healing is easier when you feel supported. 

Whether you're sending love to someone recovering from surgery or navigating illness, our boxes are filled with gentle essentials and heartfelt touches that help brighten the journey.

Made You Smile Gifts began with a deeply personal experience. In 2024, I underwent a total hysterectomy and oophorectomy at 42  - a moment that reshaped me physically, emotionally and mentally. During recovery, the thoughtful gifts I received from friends and family brought real comfort. They lifted my spirits in ways I hadn’t expected and reminded me how powerful small acts of care can be.

As I healed, I realised how many practical items made a genuine difference - things like bendy straws, cooling spray, a grabber tool and a handheld fan. That’s when the idea for the Hysterectomy Care Package came to life: a gift box that blends comfort, usefulness, and a touch of kindness for anyone navigating recovery.

I run the day-to-day, but I’m lucky to have my wife, Jen by my side. She’s the creative force behind our branding and the reason everything looks so beautifully put together. She’s also our unofficial “quality control” -  always making sure the final touches feel just right.

We’re just getting started and we’re excited to grow our collection of recovery and get well gifts. Every box is thoughtfully curated to offer support, warmth and a reason to smile - because we know how much that matters.
