Refund policy

We want you to feel confident when shopping with us. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help.

Returns Window
You have 14 days from the day you receive your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
•     In the same condition you received it
•     Unworn or unused
•     With tags (if applicable)
•     In its original packaging
•     Accompanied by proof of purchase

How to Start a Return
To request a return, email us at jeana@madeyousmile.co.uk
Once your return request is approved, we will provide you with the correct return address.
Please do not send items back without contacting us first - unapproved returns cannot be accepted.
If your return is accepted, we’ll send you:
•     Instructions on how and where to send your parcel
•     A return shipping label only if the item is faulty or we made an error

Return Postage Costs
•     If you change your mind: You are responsible for the cost of return postage.
•     If the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect: We will cover the return postage cost.
This is fully compliant with UK consumer law.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order when it arrives and contact us immediately if:
•     The item is damaged
•     The item is defective
•     You received the wrong item
We’ll assess the issue and put things right.

Non‑Returnable Items
We cannot accept returns for:
•     Personalised or custom‑made items
•     Perishable goods
•     Personal care items (e.g., beauty products)
•     Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases
•     Gift cards
Note: Faulty items are still eligible for return under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, even if they fall into one of the categories above.

Exchanges
If you’d like to exchange an item, the quickest method is:
1.     Request a return
2.     Once the return is accepted, place a new order for the item you want

Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll let you know whether the refund has been approved.
If approved:
•     Refunds are issued to your original payment method
•     Refunds are processed within 10 business days
•     Your bank or card provider may take additional time to post the refund
